The Wilbur-Ellis Informational Meeting presented by Sean took place on Monday, February 20th at 6pm in Plumas 329. Below are a few important notes captured from the presentation, for those who weren't able to attend:
The company is comprised of 3 divisions: agribusiness, feed, and the Connell Brothers division. This covers everything from crop & seed technology to feed ingredients and chemical manufacturing.
There are tons of locations in California! But all offered positions below are located in the Woodland area.
Traveling opportunities are plenty! Between meetings and conferences across the country, new employees have various opportunities for professional development (such as the Next Gen Program where employees get the opportunity to meet other Wilbur-Ellis branches in Denver, CO). The company values hands-on, team environments where new employees learn skills from experienced agronomists and PCA's.
The company is looking for: independent self-starters, flexible workers who can adapt to a busy environment, people who work well with diverse teams, and overall those with a strong love for the agriculture industry.

Seasonal Field Scout (2) — Summer Internship Position, no prior experience needed!
Customer Service Representative (2) — Office Position, with many opportunities for advancement!
Sales Representative (1) — Full-time Position, prior field experience highly recommended! Expected to obtain PCA licence within 1 year.
